Last night, with snow falling across the West, TGR’s newest film
Ode To Muir featuring snowboarders Jeremy Jones and Elena Hight premiered to a sold-out crowd in in Boulder, Colorado. Elena documented the night on TGR's Instagram Story, in case you missed it.
The two athletes were joined by members of Protect Our Winters and filmmakers Todd Jones, Justin Fann, and Jon “JK” Klaczkiewicz who not only spoke about the film, but also the importance of its message: By following the footsteps of John Muir and those like him, we can truly appreciate the significance of the natural world and why protecting it matters.
Before the show, POW kicked off the evening at The Lounge next door to the Boulder Theater with a who’s who of local climate activists, a great place for Jones and Hight to chat with like-minded individuals. As they spoke, a line started forming outside the doors of the sold-out show. Protect Our Winters was onsite taking pledges to vote alongside Jones Snowboards with a new line of boards, exclusive

A foot-powered, environmental film like
Ode To Muir has long been a dream of Jeremy's. When he introduced the film, he brought POW onstage to thank them for all their work, talking about how this film was by far the most important he’s ever made. And that’s coming from the man behind Deeper, Further, and Higher, some of the most influential snowboarding films ever made.
Once the credits rolled, the team kicked off the Q&A, where Hight was dubbed a badass by many of the folks asking questions. People wondered how they can
support POW's efforts, how Jeremy balances the mountains and Capitol Hill, and how this experience changed snowboarding for Elena.
The crowd exited stoked and ready take to take on the upcoming season! The film tour rolls on to Nevada, Montana, Oregon, British Columbia, Washington, and California.
