NYC Surfing Was All-Time Last Month

Last month, New York saw some of the biggest swell in years, turning it into a surf dreamland almost overnight. It was gone just as quickly as it came, but a handful of local surfers caught it just right, finding an escape from their everyday lives on a churning ocean right near their homes. Local filmmaker/NYC firefighter Etan Blatt and a few members of the Long Beach-based NYSea crew threw down an all-time session while the waves lasted, check out Blatt’s short film Whole Again
