Mt. Washington Auto Road Reopens Due To Lack Of Snow

It's safe to say that the East has had a pretty slow start to their winter season with temperatures still reaching the 60's the hills are looking pretty bare. So bare that the Mount Washington Auto Road in Gorham New Hampshire will reopen for guided tours. The Road takes you all the way to Mount Washington's tree line, which is about half way up with mountain.

The road is a seasonal road and closed back in mid-October but was able to reopen due to the unusually warm temperatures for this time of year. Yes the lack warm temperature and lack of snow is unfortunate, but take advantage and take a drive up so you can slap one of those "This Car Climbed Mt. Washington...In December!" bumper stickers!
