Meet the Crew: Trio Behind Bars x Scott Gaffney
The Trio Behind Bars crew just dropped a full-throttle guide to Lake Tahoe’s best mountain biking—and it’s filmed by none other than legendary ski filmmaker Scott Gaffney. Known for capturing some of the most iconic ski moments of the last two decades, Gaffney brings that same energy and eye for action to two wheels.
From Jumps to Singletrack: The Ride Breakdown
Camden (14), Weston (10), and Em (6)—the siblings behind the Trio Behind Bars channel—spend a week ripping through Tahoe’s trails, parks, and jumps, showcasing just how far young riders can push it when the stoke is high and the terrain delivers.
Over the course of a week, the crew hits nearly every flavor of terrain Tahoe has to offer. It starts with airtime at Truckee Bike Park and Prosser Dirt Jumps, where they warm up with whips, flips, and fully dialed trick lines. From there, it’s all about exploration.
They move into Tahoe’s iconic trail network, riding everything from the scenic singletrack of the Flume Trail to the high-speed corners of Corral. The finale? A wild run down Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride, a granite-strewn test piece that pushes both bikes and bodies to the edge.

Why This Edit Hits Different
The real standout in this video is the riding. Camden, Weston, and Em —all young and coming up fast—spend the week stacking clips across Tahoe’s most iconic terrain.
They bring a mix of style, speed, and creativity that makes every trail feel fresh. From dirt jumps to techy descents, they ride with confidence well beyond their years, pushing each other while keeping the vibe fun and loose.
This is what the next generation of mountain bikers looks like—hungry, talented, and fully in it for the ride.
