Michelle Parker has been leading the charge for women’s freeskiing longer than anyone in the game at this point. The Truckee-based pro skier started refining her riding at age 15 in park and pipe competitions before bringing her riding into the backcountry and big mountain terrain, competing in events like X-Games and Red Bull Cold Rush, before focusing on filming. All along, she has always worked tirelessly to bring my women into the sport, through organizations like Safe As Clinics – a women’s tailored avalanche safety program. This year, she returned to one of her favorite places in the world to ride – Points North Heli in Alaska – with her friend Griffin Post, where they scored unbelievable conditions on some of North America’s wildest lines. Catch more of her time in Alaska in her Magic Hour athlete edit, and make sure to see her full part on the big screen at a Magic Hour tour stop near you.
