Max Hitzig: FWT23 Men’s Rider of the Year

After the early end to the 2023 FWT, I don’t think there was too much doubt regarding the Men’s rider of the year. Max Hitzig had many of the best tricks this season and put on electrifying performances at every stop on tour. He consistently found fresh lines to take and often took features bigger and gnarlier than much of his competition. I mean we all saw his backflip up at Kicking Horse. Sh*t was actually nuts. It’s hard to believe that the Austrian was a rookie this season – I cannot wait to see what the 20 year old phenom will accomplish in his budding career.
