Taos Ski Resort's Freeride Championships—which doubled as a Freeride World Tour Qualifier four-star event—took place over the weekend. Over a decade old, the Freeride competition is New Mexico's most prestigious.
The course featured steep, challenging terrain of the West Basin and the famous Katchina Peak. Athletes sent huge backies, rugged cliff drops, and proper wipe outs. Some incredible big mountain riding came from both the men and women at this year's competition.
