Ever wonder what attracts pro-athletes to certain locations? Is it the terrain, the culture, or something else that makes these places so special? Locals, a new show produced by TGR and premiering on Outside TV this Thursday, July 17 answers this question. Locals will profile these outdoor Meccas through the eyes of athletes who live there. Hosted by TGR alum Erik Roner, the first episode features the pro-skier and base jumper traveling to Maui to meet up with big wave surfer Ian Walsh. Walsh shows Roner the inside story on Maui, taking him to his secret surf spots, mountain bike trails and watering holes.
