Kevin Meza – the Baja Koala

Some people just like to have fun; and if his surfing is any indicator, Kevin Meza is one of them. Kevin, fondly known as the Baja Koala, is a free surfing mad genius hailing from the rocky beaches of Ensenada in Baja. It’s not hard to pick Mr. Meza out of a lineup with his playful, skate influenced style and flawless, silky airs. I mean how many surfers can you name that can rip a finger flip on their surfboard after launching four feet off the lip of a wave? I can only think of the Aussie, Jake Vincent.
