Jesse Melamed certainly had one of the most action-packed race seasons of any mountain bike athlete this year. With two EWS wins and a claim to the #1 number plate, he returned home to Canada on a total high. Of course, traveling internationally meant two full weeks of quarantine with his housemates (also EWS racers), which must have felt like forever. But lucky for them, that quarantine lined up with closing day at the Whistler Bike Park, where it was all about party laps with the friends to close out the season.
2 weeks off the bike and we were all feeling a bit sketchy! Nothing like some primo dirt and the best jumps in the world to get back to though!
