Jeremie Heitz Rides His Bike To Some Insane Alps Freeride Lines

Access to big ski objectives in the Alps is really something else. As if the boatload of trams, gondolas and chairlifts that take you up high weren't enough, those crafty Euros are taking their commutes to a whole new level using mountain bikes. With an eye towards reducing his emissions footprint, Swiss freerider Jeremie Heitz took to riding his eMTB to the mountain every day he could this season. Rigging his skis to the frame, he simply pedals himself through some beautiful Swiss valleys to the base or the trailhead before embarking on his mission. Of course, for Heitz, that "mission" usually includes something a whole lot more rowdy, like climbing, skiing, then paragliding back to the base of a massive mountain. In Episode 2 of his new series Pedal2Pow, Heitz navigates some serious exposure on a classic Swiss North Face - all made possible by a quick approach to snowline via bike.
