Japan’s Yuto Yamada’s Viral Superboost

Japanese snowboarding superstar Yuto Yamada is going viral, if that's still a thing. Yuto's clip has 2.9 million views on Instagram at the time of this post. But based on how quickly the stream of viral content flows and replenishes these days, we'll all probably have forgotten about it by the end of the day. And that's too bad. Yuto deserves better. 

It makes one wonder: does the remarkably shortened attention span of today correlate with shortened memory, too? We're getting too heady. Let's just watch the man ride his snowboard.

For a few fleeting moments, suspended in digital air, we can enjoy this monstrosity of a hip jump in all its deserved glory. Go big or go home, the Gods said. Enjoy, and forget quickly, probably.
