JACKSON HOLE: WAFFLE BOYS Is a Love Letter to the Grind, the Gnar, and the Tetons

Luke, Tucker, and Wyatt Gentry sling waffles all summer so they can ski all winter.

There’s a certain smell that defines Jackson Hole summers. Hot irons. Sugar in the air. A line of tourists wrapped around the summit, waffles in hand, staring down one of the most storied pieces of ski terrain on the planet. For three Jackson-born skiers, that smell is also motivation. A sign of things to come. A summer of dishing up fresh waffles is the precursor to a long winter of deep powder.

JACKSON HOLE: WAFFLE BOYS, a new short film from JHMR, captures the rhythm of a life built around earning turns long before the snow starts falling. Equal parts lighthearted and gnarly, the film follows Tucker Carr, Wyatt Gentry, and Luke Gentry, a trio of brothers who spend their summers working the counter at Corbet’s Cabin. When winter comes around, you can find them sending some of the most technical lines the Tetons have to offer.

All summer long, the Waffle Boys are stationed at 10,450 feet, serving thousands of waffles while staring down at Jackson Hole’s legendary terrain.

Winter Arrives

When the winter switch finally flips, watch them showcase a selection of Jackson Hole finest terrain: steep tram laps, creative resort hits, epic powder days, and backcountry missions deep in the Tetons.

Waffle Boys leans into a duality that defines Jackson Hole for many of us. Work hard. Ski harder. Laugh often. Send just a little bigger than your buddy.

The film is a celebration of the process, the friendship, and the sentiment that comes from growing up in a place where skiing begets a sense of identity.

At its core, this is a film about earning turns.
