Jackson Goldstone Makes It Three Straight With Val Di Sole World Cup Win

Jackson Goldstone is catlike. And unstoppable.
The 20-year-old Canadian phenom just made it three in a row with another dominant win at the UCI Downhill World Cup—this time on one of the gnarliest tracks in the game: Val di Sole’s legendary Black Snake.
Val di Sole is a tricky course, and has long been a contender for toughest and most brutal on the UCI circuit. But Goldstone’s riding style suits this type of terrain— he doesn’t get stuck in as many holes and he carries speed incredibly well on the rough track. He sent it top to bottom with precision and raw speed, finishing more than two seconds clear of the field—an eternity at this level of racing.
Talking to Wyn Masters on WYNTV, Goldstone said he “greased” his finals run better than in any of his practice or qualifying runs. A long line of fans waits patiently in the background.

Goldstone’s Val di Sole win follows victories at Leogang and Fort William, making him undefeated in World Cup finals so far this season. And while he's been touted as the future of downhill racing since his viral balance bike days, the future may have officially arrived.
If this streak is any indication, the Jackson Goldstone era has begun.
As one commenter suggested: “He's still just a child, we are not ready.”
