INSANITY: Jim Monro Tests the World’s Scariest MTB Jump at Red Bull Hardline

To be honest, I'm not sure the risk/reward math adds up here.

Built specifically for the Red Bull Hardline downhill MTB race in Dyfi, Wales this canyon gap puts a pit in your stomach. A lump in your throat. Scaffolding is one thing, but rushing water many, many feet below is another.

Testing on the feature has begun, and there's already been a heavy slam that sent the rider we see here-- Jim Monro-- to the hospital. Frankly, I don't have a good feeling about this one. Someone could very, very easily die here. 

Here's to hoping the riders stay smart and safe as the race approaches.
