Ikon Pass Adds Five Resorts in the Italian Alps

The mega pass now includes access to a number of resorts in the Italian Alps.

Ikon Pass holders just scored another reason to renew early. This winter 2025-26, Ikon is adding five mountains tucked inside Italy’s Valle d’Aosta, one of Europe’s most stunning and underrated ski zones. If you’ve ever dreamed of ripping pow under the shadow of the Matterhorn or sipping Aperol in an alpine village after a day on Mont Blanc, this is your ticket. If you want it, move fast. Prices are still at their low-tier rates, for now.

The New Ikon Territory
Valle d’Aosta sits among the giants: the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc loom, while ancient villages and Michelin-starred kitchens define the après. Ikon holders now get access to:

  • Courmayeur Mont Blanc – A Euro classic with Mont Blanc views and easy access to Chamonix through the Mont Blanc tunnel.
  • Cervino Ski Paradise – Ski the Italian side of the Matterhorn with direct connections into Zermatt.
  • La Thuile Espace San Bernardo – Hidden stashes and big-mountain lines on the French border.
  • Monterosa Ski – Three valleys of high-alpine terrain that locals whisper about.
  • Pila – Easy access from Aosta town and uncrowded tree skiing when storms roll in.

With these five resorts, Valle d’Aosta delivers serious variety: big-mountain spines, groomers with classic views of the Alps, and a culture that makes “ski trip” feel like “life upgrade.” Eat the bread.

The Details

  • Ikon Pass: 7 days total combined across the five Valle d’Aosta resorts, no blackout dates.
  • Ikon Base Pass: 5 days combined, no blackout dates.
  • Not included on the Ikon Session Pass.

Danilo Chatrian, GM of Courmayeur Mont Blanc Funivie, summed it up: “We’re proud to join the Ikon community. Valle d’Aosta is a hidden gem of the Alps—world-class skiing, gourmet cuisine, authentic alpine charm. We can’t wait to welcome more U.S. skiers and riders to our home.”
