How the PNW Inspired This Rider to Give Back to the MTB World through Coaching

When asked what draws people to mountain biking, one of the most common answers we always hear is “community.” The friends we make, the experiences we share, and the energy we feed off when riding with like-minded individuals is something that only time spent on two wheels can bring. Living in Bellingham, Washington, Transition’s Angi Weston has embraced that community for the better part of her life, ultimately realizing that what she wanted to do was give back to the community through coaching.

In true spirited fashion, this led her to abandon her desk job and take on full-time mountain bike coaching, focusing specifically on bringing women into the woods on a bike and sharing her experiences. To her? It's the ultimate fulfillment.
