How Do The Best Freestyle Mountain Bikers Practice Their Tricks?

As an athlete, a canceled season - like what most pro mountain bikers are experiencing in 2020 - might be just as bad as suffering a season-ending injury. With no clear path ahead, no goals and comps to train for, and no prize money to compete for, it was a tough year for many competition athletes. For slopestylers Reed Boggs, Nicholi Rogatkin, and Greg Watts, the season felt like being in limbo, but that didn’t stop them from putting in the work to keep progressing the sport.

Despite the canceled 2020 FMB Tour, these three still managed to put in the hours practicing new tricks, and filmmaker Jasper Wesselman was there to artfully capture it. Check out what an “off” season for the three pros looks like, it’s impressive.
