Here’s The Carnage From This Week’s Puerto Escondido Challenge

Fact: big wave surfing is gnarly. There’s a reason competitors wear inflatable vests, and often even helmets. There are literal tons of water crashing down on them, all while they are moving at warp speeds down the faces of huge waves. This week’s Puerto Escondido Challenge, won by Kai Lenny in the closing minutes, had its fair share of carnage, and here’s one minute of the competition's finest bails.
