The Gripping Final Stages of the Andes Pacifico

After five grueling days and over 40,000 vertical feet descended, the racers of the Andes Pacifico finally reached the Pacific Ocean, where they were treated to a banger of an BBQ afterparty on the beach. As per tradition, the unofficial final stage of the race began here, with the pisco and red wine flowing like water and racers abiding by one rule: no pisco no disco.

The final standings had Jerome Clementz clinging on to his lead in the men’s race, and Tracy Moseley dominating the women’s field.

Here are recap videos from days three and four, where racers rode through the dusty and dry coastal ranges on trails that resembled a motocross track – filled with berms, jumps, and super high speed sections.
