Ever dreamed of becoming a ski or snowboard movie star? The TGR Grom Contest is your shot at the big leagues. Submit your most mind-blowing edit, and you could join the next generation of athletes getting their footage on our legendary film tour.
WHO CAN SEND IT
The Basics:
- Under 18 by contest close (check tetongravity.com for deadline)
- Open to US & Canada residents
- One edit per grom—make it count
For the Young Guns (12 & Under): Your parent or guardian needs to submit your edit and sign the waiver
Everyone Else: You still need parental permission to enter—no exceptions
THE PRIZES
GRAND PRIZE (1 male, 1 female winner)
- Full-year TGR Optics Grom Squad contract
- Fresh pair of Uprising Goggles
- Massive TGR merch haul
- Week-long session at Windells or High Cascade Camp (Summer 2026)

VIDEO REQUIREMENTS
Technical Specs:
- Under 3 minutes max
- Title format: Full name + age (e.g., "Jake Smith, 16")
- You must own the rights to all footage
- Music must be properly licensed
Creative Freedom:
- Any terrain goes: park, urban, powder, big mountain—whatever showcases your skills
- Footage can be from anywhere in the world
- Show us your best stuff, no filler
HOW WE JUDGE
Our crew of TGR athletes, staff, and production team will review every submission. We're looking for:
What Matters Most:
- Quality of action—how hard are you charging?
- Level of riding—pure skill on display
- Tight editing—your best footage, expertly cut
What Doesn't:
- Social media likes or views (though they might help us notice your edit)
- Video length—we just need to see enough to recognize talent
A dialed edit with your gnarliest footage will score better than three minutes of filler. Quality over quantity, always.
THE FINE PRINT
By entering, you grant TGR the right to use your footage. All judging decisions are final. We reserve the right to adjust contest format, rules, and prizes anytime. Social media engagement won't sway our judges, but it may help your video reach the right audience.
Submissions for the 2025 TGR Grom Contest are now CLOSED after August 15th 2025. Winners will be selected soon, keep your eyes peeled.
