Gravity Feed: AK Fin 360s, Jackson Rippers, and 30 Years of TGR Hype

TGR's latest Gravity Feed rewind features massive throwback moments: John Collinson's iconic 360 fin-drop in Alaska from Rogue Elements, Owen Leeper's rowdy, unforgettable line at Jackson Hole from Pressure Drop, and the start of our 30th Anniversary retrospective, revisiting the core session that launched our first film, The Continuum.

John Collinson's Iconic AK 360

Revisit the raw power of the Alaskan backcountry. While shooting for Rogue Elements in 2016, Johnny Collinson lined up on a daunting snow spine and launched a massive 360 into a virgin field of powder. This high-consequence maneuver perfectly captured the immense scale and full throttle commitment required to ski the biggest terrain on the planet, instantly becoming one of our most recognizable film moments.

Leeper's Local Jackson Hole Line

Featured in the Jackson Locals segment of Pressure Drop, Owen Leeper took full throttle commitment to an entirely new level by willingly hopping a massive cliff at Jackson Hole. The impact was instantaneous and chaotic, landing flat on his back into a deep pit of powder.

TGR's 30 All-Time Moments | Decade One

Join us as we launch the TGR 30 All-Time Moments series, a deep dive into our archival history. This inaugural episode takes us back to the session that started it all in 1995. Armed with a 16mm camera, the original crew captured the magic behind Grand Targhee Resort, hitting the lines that would form the backbone and energy of our very first film, The Continuum. See how thirty years of big lines and unforgettable stories began.
