The Freeride World Tour has canceled the remainder of the FWT20 season, including the Verbier Xtreme and all FWQ and Junior events in response to the global COVID-19 crisis. In a statement, FWT organizers said, “The situation surrounding COVID-19 is evolving rapidly, and the priority of the Freeride World Tour before everything else is to insure the health and safety of the its athletes and team. We would like to thank all of the athletes, fans, and staff for this incredible season.”

We look forward to more of this next season! FWT photo.

With no Verbier Xtreme final to look forward to, the 2020 champions were decided by the current overall standings. Congratulations to Isaac Freedland and Arianna Tricomi for the Ski Men and Ski Women title, and to Nils Mindnich and Marion Haerty for the Snowboard Men and Snowboard Women title!
