From Surfboards To Snowboards, Chris Christenson Is Shaping Magic

A true hands-on craftsman, Chris Christenson has been shaping surfboards, and perfecting the art, since shaping his first board in his dad's backyard in 1991. As Chris says "building big-wave boards, is no different than building a parachute, it has to work" and to date, Chris's work is trusted by some of the best big-wave surfers in the game, including the likes of Greg Long, Tom Lowe and Ian Walsh.

Now that snowboarding is borrowing a lot of qualities from its oceanic cousin–with progressive shapes and fish tales–Chris has been designing snowboards for legendary snowboarders like Jeremy Jones, which you can witness in TGR's new film Life of Glide.
