    1. GSA, but it's almost like too meta. Like it's in and of itself a hall of Fame?
    2. Jesse James or Jones or whoever, pure infamy.
    3. Anyone remember the doofus that went and climbed up liberty ridge with a handgun after bypassing a locked gate with a pair of bolt cutters? During one of the gov shutdowns. I can't find the thread. His defense here was like a master class in entitled/oblivious.

Hi TBS! The Hall of Fame is a place of reverence where "Mags" can revisit their gloried past, and it is a great idea to nominate new threads to be "inducted" into it. There is one thread missing that I would be honored to nominate. It is the Open invite to ALPINEZONE.COM forums. This thread fostered a lasting camaraderie between our two on-line snowriding communities and ushered in a new era of on-line stoke! I would also like to take this opportunity to formally invite you (as well as all TGR Maggots , NewSchoolers, Pugskiazoids, jongs and lurkers alike) to come join our fun-loving but responsible bunch of snowriding aficionados at http://forums.alpinezone.com/. I think most all of you will find that our seasoned moderators "keep the bar high" by maintaining a sense of order and decorum, while encouraging quality discussion about our favorite pastime. I can assure you that "newbies"'(jongs) are welcomed with open arms by our entire community(unlike here at TGR), and there is no "hazing period" or rudeness tolerated. We also have superior bandwidth and response times on our 502g superfibre network as well as a state-of-the-art virtual blade server farm with 5000 terabytes of virtual disk space for your photos, blogs etc. It may take a small amount of getting used to, as we do have reasonable standards as far as language and image posting that are strictly enforced. The registration is easy and painless, and the rules will be explained in detail during the process. I will warn you however up front that registering an ALIAS is strictly "VERBOTEN", and something we have zero-tolerance with. If you are tired of the juvenile goings-on here on TGR and yearn for a snowriding forum that matches your maturity level, all I can say is: "Come join the fun"!

Oh man, I was just thinking about that the other day.

Don't remember reading it here, but it was hot on TAY at the time. Dude's handle was blackdog95 or something like that.

Jesus Christ, I had forgotten you ever existed until this post. I'll give credit where credit is due, and that thread was awesome. Because it made fun of you. Now beat it, nerd.

As the initial expedition for probably the greatest fisher of men this board has seen, I agree this thread is worthy of nomination.

Greg should understand though that 5000 terabytes of data is so 2007. Everybody uses AWS now.

Like others, the pics are gone. but who can forget TR: A FALL INTO KING RAVINE (MOUNT ADAMS, NH)? But the pics aren't important. What's important is that you have been putting your boots on wrong this entire time. Also, it's one of the few threads that starts a little slowly and just continues to reveal layers with each new page.
