please bring on the season so we can put the quitter news to bed.

I get it that he was injury plagued and the colts never gave him protection; but they weren't concussions, knees or back and he plays one of the most protected positions and highly paid in the league.

yes, he can quit for his own health or any other reason but don't expect i'm going to sympathize with him when he quits early on people that were hoping he would take them to a superbowl AND made him a multi-multi millionaire.

I would agree with sports is not end all be all, but for some it is, he quit on them, his players and coaches; no pass on that for me.

and I quit buying tickets to all sporting events with the occasional exception of a game maybe once a season years ago; so I contribute nothing to their player salaries; so good for me too.

interestingly, his coaches and fellow players don't seem to feel he quit on them, but good to know that you know better than them.

Oh fuck off. He was one of the best in the world at something that society values at a crazy high level. Take issue with that if you want, but dude was an earner, whether he was winning games or not. They didn’t make him shit.

Sounds like a typical spectator that's never played the game and never won anything.

We just got invited to very nice luxury suite seats at the last pre-season game for Seahawks vs. Raiders tomorrow night. Turned it down.

    ^^ Why???

I sat in a luxury box once, like two seasons ago. It was the box right next to Robert Kraft's owners box (we got pictures of ol' Bobby Kraft himself shmoozing his guests right next to us lol) The whole experience was absolutely amazing, one of the best times of my life. Private entrance, free dunkins hot chocolate and free popcorn before you rode up in the private elevator, absolutely amazing food spread (unlimited lobster rolls!!?!), private bathrooms, open bar - and they didnt have something we were looking for, so they went and somehow found us a six pack of it to put in our frige - dunkins "desert drink" cart (where you could pick between like 10 different desert type drinks - Bailey's, Kahlua, etc and mix it with coffee or hot chocolate).. It was fucking unreal.

it completely ruined regular seats at Gillette stadium for me

Yup. All that and more, (parking, etc.). We went to the Packer Thursday game last year. No starters playing, pre-season sucks, daughter comes home late from school to visit for the weekend.

your intelligence has never stunned me, but the above is so stupid i thought I should take note. The players' salaries are supported by the sale of the tv rights

and booing luck was in really poor taste and that you agree with it by calling him a quitter is in character
