    Well I'm (over)spent.

In 2002 I got rid of my old 205cm skinnies and bought my first pair of "fat shaped skis," the 186cm Fischer All Mountain X, at 78mm underfoot.

It was revolutionary. I quickly moved up to the 10.EX (84mm), the AK Enemy (90mm), and eventually the Teledaddy (99mm).

6 years later, and my smallest ski is 84mm underfoot. It's a remarkable time to be a (powder) skier (read: fanatic).

Can't afford anything else for many years to come, but I have my bases more than covered now.

Time to love them all to death.

I would go further and say everything non-tele. I wouldn't sleep. As it is I can't goto bed without fondling my boards.

Nice. I've got a pretty similiar setup: Prophet 100 (~Gotama); AK Enemy (w/ Naxo21); and 195 Praxis (still waiting).

I also kinda hate the Iron Maiden-inspired graphics of the Enemies.

Let me introduce the 2stix's family quiver.

Mrs. 2stix boards mostly on a K2 Recon snowboard and sometimes enjoy's a cruise on her 160 Solomon Verse 9's.

The little Ms. 2stix's is starting her second year on her Atomic little flower 90's.

    My selection is
    - Old K2 enemies (189) with Tyrolia Freeflex 1s as early/late season rock skis. They have got a TON of miles on them, but are still fully enjoyed.
    - 190 Volkl Gotamas with Mojo 15s. All around ripping hardpack to crud ski, mounted freeride line.
    - 190 new K2 AK enemies ingognito . Hated the graphics, so I painted them flat black and added a couple stickers to make me happy, still waiting on the new "change for a nickle" stickers. These are mounted with Dukes at +3. Light pow, slack country and play sticks.
    - Lastly, 195 Praxis POW. Mounted with Dukes at 104cm. Big Pow, Slack country, light touring and Hopefully Cat skiing sticks.

Well Plywood, I will give you this...you have a "unique" quiver that no one else is likely to copy.

Also, Markers with one brake arm per ski are so hot right now...you are an innovator!

it IS actually very duck. just looks sideways because of the angle the pic was shot. and because the heel part is longer than the toe part it looks weird, but i can ensure you that the boot center is right in the middle of the skis.

brakebending sucks, so i just cut off one side - if i bent the other side there would only have been about 1cm of the brake sticking out. if you lose such fat skis you`re screwed anyway...normal brakes are just not enough for holding such skis back in pow.

    Duckstance... Original Sanouks had it.

The idea behind duckstance is that all peeps have some duckstance normally in their feet.

Fischer does this with their Soma boots.

The 179 secret weapons in the bottom picture have got a new look to them. There are also some 181 Anti-Pistes and 179 Piste Pipes that have recently been added to the family.

Are those graphics of your own design? They look exceedingly nice. If they're not next year's graphics they should be!

I can't say they are my own since they're inspired by EVH, but I did do them myself. I'm pretty stoked on the way they came out but I now I want more thinner white stripes. Oh well. I'm not going to re-do them and I'm sure they're going to get beat up badly anyways.

I am lobbying hard for K2 to make a graphic like this. We shall see...

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Is it too cheesy to say that the Van Halen graphics are what Sallie should have used for the "Rocker"? Anyhow, any ski with that graphic is going to get some attention and appeal to a certain "demographic", and most of us in that category probably have VH CD's in the collection and disposable income for extra ski gear...WIN-WIN!

Sick, Hop! Hope the yuckety-yuks at K2 listen to your suggestion...

    I knew that seemed familiar.

    Here's my EC line up:

I need to find and mount some bindings for the Mantra's this week. P40's are super old and I don't ski them any more.

Just a suggestion, but why not take the bindings off the P40's and throw them on the Mantras?

I thought about mounting them onto the Mantras but I had a bitch of a time finding wide brakes for them and they are Rossi Axial 110 Pros circa 2000. Din rating 10. They're a bit too measly and I figured I should upgrade to something better for the Mantra's.

I don't know though, I am only 150Lbs. so they might be fine. Anybody know where I can find wide brakes for them?
