I miss my late summer Powder

The last few days I have really noticed the evil that is the lack of Powder Magazine. My turn to fall seems all out of whack. Screw you A360 Media.
Move along nothing to see here.

I agree. It’s sucks it’s not publishing… hopefully they come to their senses and sell it to someone that actually knows what to do with it.

I know of the other options and was happy to see a Ski Journal update the other day. The physical magazine is late August or early September was a tangible reminder of what is to come. It was always the first magazine I saw and reminded me to change my thinking and start changing seasons. This is the first fall without and the lament is real.

Does anyone get the Mountain Gazette? I think it's only published 3-4 times a year, maybe less.

I get it. The large format is great for photographs but a bit cumbersome overall.

It's published twice a year, it's amazing. Mike Rogge is doing great things with it. It's expensive, but WELL worth the money.

Ok, for everyone like me thats missing Powder mag right now, I am going to do a sell on my site. http://prints.grantgunderson.com
In homage to the old Powder mag forums, the discount code is: Maggots15 and as you might guess, its for 15% off. Thats the biggest discount I have ever done on my prints.

Mountian Gazzette is a great mag, published by a former Powder editor, but its not a ski specific mag. Its more mountian culture. Ski Journal is great, so is Backcountry and Forecast. I'm hoping that Freeskier can salvage its self from a near death as well. With all of the shit going on in the world right now, we need ski porn more than ever.
