I’m pretty sure moment has said multiple times they aren’t bringing back the governer because everyone at the factory liked the commander better in every condition.

Pretty stoked to add another Moment to the stable! Probably will replace my PBJs as my daily driver.
At this stage, I've owned/own:
190 Bibby (12/13)
190 Exit World (14/15)
188 PBJ (18/19)
190 Deathwish (17/18)
190 Wildcat 108 Tour (20/21)
***190 Wildcat 108 (19/20)***
Guess I need to get a Commander 98 and a Chipotle Banana to round out the Moment-ified quiver. (The only question is what size Chipotle Naner...)
Thanks to melee and team for making such solid AND fun skis!sproing!

How much do you weigh? I know you like the BIG sticks (194!!! C108), but I don't think I rage enough for the 193 Bananas. Currently weigh 195#...hoping to be 185 for next season.
melee told me in person (and wrote on the CB thread) that he much prefers the 186 - I guess the 193 are tanks. https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...31#post6103031
Has anyone (other than melee) skied BOTH the 193 and 186?sproing!

Im 6 ft 170. Maybe ive gotten used to big skis now, but with the full rocker and taper if found them not difficult to maneuver. Was skiing them through chop on the chutes off of 23 at mammoth. Transitioned really smoothly from turn to turn. That radius rocker is legit.
Its a beefy ski though. So is Melee is saying 186, you probably wont be giving up much by going shorter.

WC 108’s are just so great as a Tahoe daily driver. I still have my PB&J’s but don’t use them much.
I ski 135 degree chutes switch to the road.

They sure holy shit are!! Damn they are fun.
These things rock in spring conditions - I can't wait to get some wintry snow under them! These will be skied 80% of my resort days. YES - thanks again!!
BTW, Sierra Vista was super fun!
I doubt it - these things fucking rule. Exactly what I wanted - a damper and wider PBJ. Hellz to the yes.sproing!

Got to test drive some pb&js for today. Really liked them. Great in the air, I'm crap at freestyle but today was easily the most fun I've had throwing tricks and airs. It's pretty stable in spring slush, and had good edge hold on morning ice. Also performed quite well on steeps.
Think I'm a moment convert. Does anyone have insight into how big the stability difference is between the 101 and the 108? And how much you lose in agility/ freestyley goodness.

I keep playing with the idea of selling off my PB&Js. Any thoughts? I find myself quite happy to take the WC108 out on any day that warrants the PB&Js. I end up skiing the PB&Js just to walk the dog, so to speak. Quiver below (red skis have not been mounted):

My son has the Wildcat 101 and they seem a bit more substantial/stiffer feel than the old PB&J. He loves them but has outgrown his current pair. He needs some 164's if anyone sees any, let me know. None left at Moment and none being produced until later in the year.

I’m trying to find a new daily driver for the pnw to swap out my kartels(98). I have an old pair of Bibbys that I really enjoy on any day with soft conditions. The wildcat 101 looked interesting - anyone try these out on firmer days? I’m looking for something a little more playful than the bibby that’ll be fun in the trees and pop off stuff
