What's the difference between a woman from Rangeley and a moose?

50 pounds and a flannel shirt.

^^ in any case the superstar sticker (via vtfree) is a nice touch, commemorating a great spring (and the last for two years)

Anyone hit Platty today? Thinking of heading there tomorrow but wondering how much damage Wednesday’s rain event did.

temps stayed cold and with so few on the hill today, any remaining moisture should drain out. watching the cams it looked like they got more snow last night, and the guns were running on upper face and likely elsewhere (the place was lit up like i'd never seen it last saturday)

radar and van winshield indicate snowing again

I’m watching the cams. Especially the top of the triple as it shows accumulation on the railing.

My choice for tomorrow is either the porcelain bowling alley that Hunter will be for $0 (Epic) or pay to ski a (hopefully) less crowded Platty.

^^ no, i hear you. before covid i typically used 2fers and ski club discounts.
lift tickets are ridiculous now. thinking more of the "porcelain bowling alley" comment.
my cheap go-to is night skiing at jiminy with the $25-off zephyr pass. gets my daily avg down til the k spring pass takes me to....

    the hopefully big finish

Eastcoast Roll Call TwoTwo/TwoThree A Slow Start to a Big Finish

The kids and I are going to brave the frozen-g and be at BMOM tomorrow. Look for the typical maggot schwag…..ftp gloves, frs jackets ect ect. Ill be riding some kraken mvp’s.

We were thinking about heading to saddleback but we need to pick up the wifee in bethel in the afternoon.
A woman reported to police at 6:30 p.m. that she was being "smart-mouthed."

Be aware that if this weekend is anything like last weekend, traffic around Bethel early and late (ie when most people are coming to or leaving the mountain) may be significant. Not LCC or Stowe on a powder day significant, but neither is the skiing.
