A friend's band is playing at Copper tomorrow, free show. The Gasoline Lollipops, check them out if you get a chance, they're good.

I’ll post it here since others may benefit.

RMNP ended up with some solid coverage. I measured roughly 45-50cm (1.5ish ft)

Here is a shot of a pit we dug (10,750ft :: NE aspect), as you can see some buried facets forming from 0-30cm. Above that from 30-75cm the new snow is holding together nicely. CT13. Failed at at the ground.

Great turns were found on northern facing aspects.

Overall I was impressed by the snow quality; with surface temps in the 40’s I’m not quite sure why the fluffy stuff is sticking around but it sure was fun to ski!

I counted probably a dozen skiers up at hidden valley Saturday. Heard it was descent snow at TL. Get out and get some!

I thought it was Vail at first. Without seeing the horizon, they look about identical.

Careful, we don't need this thread turning into another soapbox.

Skip the mountain coaster and alpine slides. I want to see two mile long lazy rivers and rapid rides.

They are not sacrificing primo terrain, at least not at Breck , Copper or Steamboat . I could care less. Backcountry is nice , so are lifts.

All resorts are trying to expand their market, throughout the year.
The coasters at Snowmass, on just about the flattest terrain there.
It will never effect anything I Ski and if it keeps the gondola open daily for MTBing thru September, I’m all in.

Hopefully this year will be like last year. A gorgeous warm Nov followed by nonstop snow for two months.

Agreed, but sadly I️ think there is already enough snow that will stick around and create havoc in the backcountry as more snow falls on top.

Why can't we just get one of them on board by "diversifying" with a bad ass Whistler-esque bike park, or for that matter putting a legit year round bike park in the front range.
