That was some real Magic hospitality ladies and gentlemen. Feeding the huddled masses and all. Thank you very much. Almost home.

Amazing day at Magic today, by far the best early December day I've ever had. Red Line got a bit scraped by the end but everything else was still amazing.
Anyone else notice the weird frost formations on the trees near the summit? Some of the frost crystals were near an inch long.

Two more from Friday...
Peruvian
MNIAW
... and 500 words here. Got busted on a couple errors in the comments.
Considering the distance, I consider Gore a pretty easy drive from the south. Magic is also not too tough, at least at the time of day I tend to drive. One lesson I learned... I arrived with 75 miles of range left in my tank, assumed that I could blow off gassing up until the end of the day. I stopped in Londonderry on the way out and the gas station on the main street looked open, but no one was around. The pumps weren't set up for credit card, at least not that I saw. I got back in and drove figuring there had to be a station soon. I drove quite a while and almost ran out. Was wondering if I had missed some close in options on 11 or 30 to fill up?
Thanks again to all. Really appreciate it.NYSB: NYSkiBlog.com

Due to the power outages, gas sales were a little quirky at Wayne's this week. Next time, there is another gas station right around the corner. Heading west on Route 11, turn south on Route 30 and pull into the shopping plaza. There is a gas station on the east side of the plaza.

Headed up this weekend. Mrs MSB is still recovering from her surgery and won’t be able to ski for awhile. But little MSB is stoked to shred.
Can’t wait to see everyone. It’s been too long.
