Much to be thankful for, mom had a heart attack last week and suffered loss of much of her kidney function.

Long story short she is much better and after a cath procedure and the kidneys rebounding she is back home today.

Yup, wishing your mom a speedy recovery Scotty and the very best of the remainder of the year to all the maggots. For Christmas, all I want is a 5 foot dump and cold temps at Mammoth. Pleez baby jesus. I was good this year.

I'm thankful for my second bourbon and nog of the evening. Two more of these, a quick check to see if the wife, dog and son are asleep and I'm heading to the local dive.

I heard they hung all the Christmas lights today including decorating the cigarette machine. Tinsel too. I'm in the fucking spirit.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Glad your mom's doing better. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

We are doing all-pie, no-extended-family Thanksgiving at our house this year. I knocked my wife up again, so I will have to drink for two. If this snow keeps up, there will be sledding in the street with the kid and dogs. The turkey trot is getting slated in the morning.

If there are any legit ski bums on this forum any more, our door is open if you don't have plans. Drop me a pm.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Spending a quiet day with no family drama tomorrow.
Picked up something for dinner at JH Whole Grocer after getting fitted with new Tecnica Mach 1s today. Have a fire going now in the wood stove.

Hmmmm. No egg nog in the house, but I do believe I have a nice bottle of Balvenie. I think I'll go pour myself a scotch.
