KQ, you should see the greenleaf that Harry brought to my big guy Honcho. The little sisters, Cheesecake and Singer, absolutely tore it apart and now it's barely recognizable.
So funny them chubby little legs pedaling as fast as possible on that thing.

I've been selling them through a local store and people continually remark how their cats go nuts for them. One woman from Seattle had bought a 2 pak then called once she got home to order 6 more 2 paks because her cat was so nuts for them (not sure if she was keeping them or giving them away. I just know that the store called me frantic that they didn't have enough to fill the order.

I think the cat nip that grows on my farm is some sort of super potent wild strain. I do not cultivate it at all. It self sows and grows where it wants. I just harvest and dry it. No spray or treatment what-so-ever.

I've only been making what I call "Skittle Bugz" lately. They are a little bigger than a golf ball and oval in shape. I make them in assorted colors with each pak having reverse colors. They seem small but the cats love them. They are still plently big enough for rabbit kicking.

For you guys I'll keep the same deal I had before. Make a donation to an animal rescue (cat/dog/horse/goat/reptile/etc).

You can do it through Chewy, at point of purchase at Petco/Petsmart/ect., walk into your local humane society etc. etc. It's all honor system.

I need to make some more for the holidays in addition to my other fiber projects I've got going so I need a week or so.

I just found this photo of when Freya had been with us for a month and had finally chilled out enough to come out of hiding 24/7. Life started so hard with Freya, I don't know why, but she was terrified of coming to our home and she escaped on day 4 by tearing out an open upper window screen. (WTF?)
We were crushed, but I saw her 3-4 days later and a cat catcher helped us trap her a week later. Oddly, as soon as we let her out of the capture cage, she was a different cat and has come to be such a loving cat 4 months later. If you had told me on day 4 how she was going to be today, I would of bet you any amount you were nuts.
Anyways, our baby Freya the Greya.

So is Mr. Kitty. Lots of things have changed. After surgery to remove half his teeth. I now feed him kitten food and anything he wants. But he continues to lose weight. He doesn’t look happy ever. I have to bring him into my room and put him under the covers to get him warm.
So I know. But he purs sometimes. But not often.
So how long do I let it go on.

(((Hugs))) to you and Mr. Kitty. I can't answer your question except to do what you can to make his remaining time comfortable. Have you considered getting him a heated bed? I have this one and my cats love it.

No problem. Might have to wait until after the new year if that's okay.

A low cost alternative to a purpose manufactured heated cat bed is getting an electric heating pad at a yard sale and putting it where Mr Kitty prefers to lounge and sleep. Older cats with health issues seem to do to better with access to a warm spot as KQ suggests.
