Glob is a new term to me, after all this time. Sounds good, but I'm not quite sure what glob is. I think it's the stuff that made me happy when I learned to snowboard.

Forecast is for a whole lot more than glob this weekend, whatever glob is. But we need a few more more than glob events to make things fun.

only if you're wearing gore tex, anything less will leak all over.
the trick isn't getting the soup into the pocket, its getting it out

Is there a thread yet on the soup rating of Gore Tex vs other waterproof breathable membranes? Event, H2No, Dry Q, Dry Vent, Pertex, etc...

I feel like soup adds a whole new layer of complexity to the garment decision making process. There's not just retention of the soup, there's the insulation factor (nobody wants cold soup - unless there's some special gazpacho colorway for 2021), and perhaps on-the-chairlift consumption should be considered - like a camelbak bladder hose, but larger, for soups that eat like a meal.

Don't confuse your soup hose with your Avalung tube.

I’ll be in DV Saturday and Monday Alta Sunday. I’d love to run into Benny. I’m can’t picture the guy skiing.
For the record I park at silver lake all the time when I venture over from the unwashed masses of BCC, however, I’d be remiss to give away my hidden parking spots.
I skied New Year’s Eve. I don’t care for the skiing per se, lady Morgan is fun area. However, the wife loves the place so we do it up once a year.

Thanks for that. But doubtful it's on the Katz wine list.

We are for sure tomorrow, but my sons are begging me to ski at alta Monday. I’m easily swayed to stay here though. The lack of on hill crowds today was refreshing.

Yes stein was not a “value”. Wife loves it though. Lady Morgan was fire this morning and Ontario bowl skied great all day. Got my 15 year old in there this afternoon and he loved it.

Tomorrow, try to hit up X-files and Ruby bowl (past X-files). The snow is still good in there.

Why can’t I buy portable soup instead of salty bullion?
I has googed and cants find.

    Did find this:
Today its biggest ticket to fame can be chalked up to the Lewis and Clark expedition from 1804-1806 into the territory of the recently acquired Louisiana Purchase. According to a letter that Lewis wrote in 1803, he purchased 193 pounds of this portable soup before departing Philadelphia.
