Seriously...I think the correct answer to “Did you get hurt?” was a simple yes.

One of 4 new blowdowns from last weekends wind storm, more fell during this round than the Cady closing one. 32` and empty, not even any walkers, trails were nice to ride, less mud than August. Should be nice out tomorrow.

Watched some skiing today with the binocs and it looked like Death Race 2000 at times. Glad I got out 3 days midweek.

17 NE - Get out and ride thread

I can’t believe I’m still riding. I figured last weekend would be my last pedal of 2017 but warmer temps made Green Mountain Trails prime today.

The last week has been tough, great riding weather that I couldn't take advantage of. My father in law is fading upstairs and had an episode so we've had him here at our house. Looks like we'll be adding a bedroom so he can move in but for a little while anyway he shouldn't be alone for any great length of time. This has left me sitting around the house a lot. I have to figure something out or I'm gonna go nuts. I'm thinking night rides so my wife is here but none of my friends that ride want to ride at night anymore so it means going solo which is always sketchy.

Did a good size group ride down in MA today which is unlike me, but the pace was good and a great group of guys...bunch of skiers

No action...just some beaver pond with thin layer of ice and graffiti/street art.

Fast and Flowy at Gtown. Wish that place had a few features.

Whoever the mad scientist trail build is there, I'd like to but him a beer. I've only ridden GMT a couple times late season since moving up here so I am supremely stoked to ride there next spring when the trails are buffed out and bone dry. What a trail network, reminds me a lot of Ascutney.

One of the best December days ever. Hunting season ended yesterday. Haven't been in the woods in five weeks. Trails are better now, dry and grippy.
From today on the town loops.

Late season riding complicated by nagging back injury keeping me off the bike the last few weeks. Putz'd around on the cross bike Saturday and scored a set of e-motion rollers on craigslist. First ride on them yesterday---about as fun as riding inside can be.

Tentatively looking for a reasonably priced fat bike, size large. I'm not too picky as long as its the right size and not beat. KInda wanna keep it under $1k and pick it up locally around VT/NH or Boston area.

44 milers in December? Not in many years. I know it's not a sexy bike by I am enjoying my 2013 Secteur a lot since I upgraded it to S-4700
