Equally annoying: Replacing ALL said networked smoke detectors around house due to expiration dates of old ones, all testing and chirping good, and upon having an ACTUAL smoke event (accidentally let a bone broth simmering overnight run dry), not a single freaking one went off. No actual fire thank goodness, but the smokes utterly failed at their one job. Oh, but they'll sure as hell all chirp at random in the middle of the night when one of their batteries is running a bit low.

I've had it with the neighbors. All of them. Is it ok to just kill them and be done with the bullshit?

Went last night to a new Indian restaurant w my wife. 2 glasses of wine, 2 apps, 1 bowl rice, 1 small plain nan, 2 entrees was $103, plus 9% tax, and tip.

This is the really annoying part. We showed up there as it opened at 5pm on Sunday so it was completely empty. They put us at the worst table in the place, and when we were leaving at 6:30 - there was only 2 other tables occupied. The food was good so they'll get another chance, but I'll be asking for a better table next time.

Indian/Asian places that charge you extra for rice and then give you a dinky bowl of it.

    India is in Asia.

We have a big south asian population here, so that's one that has recently started to annoy me. #sjw

And yeah. White/Jasmine rice should come as a large side with every entree regardless.

How do you feel about paying for chips and salsa? Bread and butter? Plain water? Ice in the water?

Guy pulls up to the STR next door at 11PM. For some reason he can't leave his car unlocked in the driveway for even a few seconds, so as he carries stuff into the house he's constantly locking and unlocking the car with the remote. Chirp...chirp-chirp...chirp...chirp-chirp...chirp...chirp-chirp. My wife was trying to go to sleep (with windows open since it had been a hot day) and was ready to go out and strangle him. This is in an area that gets more car break-ins from bears than people (I usually leave my car unlocked in the driveway, but make sure there's no food in it).

I approve of $1.99 for endless chips and a quality green salsa, but $3.99 for small bag of chips and a tiny amount of salsa to go is a hard no.

I wouldn't pay for factory bread, and would rather not eat it at all even if it was free, but for some thing handmade why not.

It could be he has a smart key with a proximity sensor…. Car senses when he walks away and locks the door, then unlocks when he grabs the handle. My car has something similar and when I’m working on it (or just washing it) I have to put the key somewhere far away so it doesn’t drive me fucking batty.

Still annoying, but excellent chance he wasn’t just paranoid.
    focus.

I think William Shatner should have been on that thing to become the oldest guy in space.
