    Snow in the PNW 20-21: We may have Corona but Corona doesn't have us!

    I hate to steer the conversation away from that slide...

    ... but I’m heading to Crystal Tuesday through Friday.

    Any chance it’ll stay soft or is it going to set up hard with clearing skies and warmer temps?

    Just trying to plan which skis to pack.

    I would expect it to be pretty hard, other than at the very top on N facing slopes and in some of the trees

    All it took was leaving my house at 5am and standing around a LOT.

    5 runs between 8:30am and 1:30pm Saturday. Made a lot of temporary friends in the Ch6 line at least?

    North facing aspects still holding winter snow on the east side. Areas that were skied this weekend are softer crud and the untracked is nice settled powder.

    Mount Baker is even extending the season to Cinco de Mayo and going all seven days a week in April. Crystal Mountain is extending weekends into May and hopes to go to Memorial Day.

    Lost a ski yesterday riding Safety Line out on Shuksen Arm. Praxis RX with Atomic Shift 13. It would be quite the score cause it has magical powers - it can avoid detection while 3 people dig for 3 hours looking for it. A bottle of your choice if it's discovered!
