how hard can it be to order tickets from Ticketmaster?

sure, the fees suck, but it’s usually pretty easy to order unless it’s a very competitive ticket

Have you not been online today? They did this massive presale sign up for Taylor swift, gave out a bunch of codes, then when those people showed up to buy tickets their entire site crashed for basically the whole day. Then they blamed the fans for showing up at the time they were told.

Taylor Swift is a prerequisite for being a middle school girl. And by extension,a parent of said kid. I had to go to a Taylor Swift concert 12 or so years ago. I was hoping for an asteroid strike the whole time.

Does Ticketmaster use Centurylink to serve their internet traffic?

I honestly hope so. It’s their only viable excuse.

My son only ever wants to listen to his rap playlist… that I personally curated.

I’d rather go see Taylor Swift with my kid than Billy Strings a million times over. And seeing swift with a million screaming 12 year olds does sound like hell to me.

Took mini plug to Taylor Swift about 10 or 11 years ago and actually she’s super talented and it was pretty fun.
That said, you can’t hear Taylor Swift sing you just hear the girls around you who sang every single word of every single song. So when people ask me “what did she sound like in concert”, I say like an 11 year old girl.

Doesn't matter what I like of course but wanted to say you are winning if you get to go to a concert with your young-ish son and you both love the music being played.

You ain't from around these parts, are ya? I was brought up on bluegrass and folk by and around hippies. VT is also very much a part of "North Appalachia". My mom played multiple instruments. The Grateful Dead followed me around for a bunch of years in the 80s. Billy Strings is the real deal. The guy has talent. I like a very wide range of music. Teen pop and "country" pop I do not like.

Indeed. Kind of presumptuous stage name though.
