Random chicken organs on skewers at a zashiki in Tokyo taught me that there are boundaries that shouldn't be crossed.

Kinda goes along with my Velcro vest idea.

Did anyone see Harvey's report from Titus the last few days? Looks pretty damned good.

It does look nice. I’ve never made it up there but want to.

You and gravity are two people I want to met at Titus someday. I've never been either. I can't swing it this year. I guess I'll be at least a year older when I finally do.

As soon as I get this new used motor in my van I'll be back on the road. Hopefully it's done by the end of this week so I'm mobile again for next week. I'll give it a week running around locally so let's try to plan something in 2 or 3 weeks, maybe the Friday before Presidents weekend if the snow is still good. If not then I probably need to push it off to the beginning of March.

Yeah there isn't a whole lot else there other than lots of really (good) cheap weed on the Akwesasne Reservation. I guess if you think of Massena or Potsdam as significant there is but, no... It's the epitome of North Central Bumblefuck.

I’m in. Of course I often fail to follow through on these things. Magic might be more realistic

Not having that Indy Pass this year and being otherwise broke after all that (has and hasn't) happened and the new motor I'm not going anywhere if the snow isn't as good as it can be. If that means making the trek up to Titus to ski and get some cheap weed that's what I'll be doing. I need to get up that way for work anyway so I'm gonna do my best to get there this year unless the conditions take a shit.

Titus is definitely closer to me. There are folks around here that had kids in various race programs, HS, etc, and would get season passes at Titus. One guy we know I think coached and was also heavily involved in the rope tow in my neighborhood, would drive the groomer. And swore by Titus. That's with Smuggler's Notch only 35 minutes and Jay 50 minutes away. I think the family also liked night skiing, tubing, and sno-chining. Magic is down in North Massachusetts or East NY. I don't willingly go south of US 4.

My youngest got accepted to Clarkson. He's not excited about it's location. He snowboards. What's the closest best place to ride? Titus? The middle kid also got accepted but went to UVM because he was concerned about borrowing too much money.

Hah. For me, ya. I mean, I have to drive near a whole bunch of compelling other mountains that I have never skied in order to get there: MRG; Killington/Pico; Okemo; Snow; Stratton; [Magic]. And that's forgetting a few others that are closer that I've been to. I did ski Whiteface once in 2012 or so. There was an iskiny $12 deal that I heard about through ttips. It was worth the 2hr drive.
