Every time the USD spikes in a sustained fashion the Fed has to intervene to prevent Asian/Latam crises redux scenarios.

Talk about externalities. That's the system that you're defending, though you don't quite know enough to understand that.
If they used bitcoin, there would be noone to intervene and they'd be fucked

    Release the FOMO!
    https://www-forbes-com.cdn.ampprojec...rom%20%251%24s

There was only one dominant talking point over the weekend and that was Bitcoin. The crypto king blasted the $10,000 level and made a new 2019 high which stands at $11,251. Although, it has retraced from that level and is currently trading at $10,757...

...To conclude, I do think the next rally is going to be a lot stronger than the previous. One can call it a bubble, but this time the Bitcoin price range could very well be between $60,000 to $100,000 .

Payments company Square is rolling out bitcoin deposits for its mobile Cash App.

The app, available on both Android and iOS, now supports deposits for at least some users, according to Twitter posts by bitcoiners and a check by a CoinDesk reporter of his own Square account Tuesday. Previously, users could purchase or sell bitcoin, as well as transfer the cryptocurrency to another wallet...

I have been lurking in this thread for about a year and half now, good stuff for the most part. A friend of mine sent this photo to me yesterday, and when I took a closer look at the name Brett McNary, I was like holy shit, isnt that Blurred 11's from TGR message boards? Good to see an old ski head cashing in and going full Lambo in Vegas--or at least renting one...ha!

I love the discussion here and am excited to see where crypto goes. I think you have to be some kind of fool not to allocate a small percentage of your overall money into crypto. The way I see it, the legit projects are run by a bunch of super nerds working hard to create something new. I do not want to bet against that. Change is always constant and sometimes that change is so hard to fathom, especially when it comes to emerging technology. There is so much money and effort going into building the crypto space, it is hard to believe that it will all just fail.

@ puregravity I get a kick out of all of your naysaying. How you are so interested in something you have no interest in is beyond me. What is the point of following crypto as intently as you do if you have no intention of getting involved?

sorry for your loss...of time when you could be doing something more fun then telling us all how we are going to get burned.

Anyway, carry on and lets see what this thing can do.

The best part of that article is they say it'd make everyone a billionaire. Guess the idiots that write articles completely forgot about supply and demand! Idiocracy is here 486 years earlier than expected.
