This is a very sad day for the USA!. I didn't always agree with her, but she was The best, plain and simple.
I hope that no SCOTUS Justice will be nominated to replace her until Dec. or better yet Jan.

Tonight, I will raise my glass to her.

Well, Moscow Mitch will have the new fascist SCOTUS on the bench by end of October, if not sooner.

I bet Trump sees this as an early Christmas present.

    Sad day.

If it wasn't already locked in, this really locks in the christian fundamentalist vote for Trump.

    Pence is celebrating...praise be!

A great loss for the United States and everyone in it, regardless of their politics and whether they realize it or not.
Several commentators this eve said that she was to women's civil rights what Thurgood Marshall was to Black civil rights.

If Mitch tries to confirm a justice before Biden takes office what's been happening in Portland and elsewhere will look like a 5 year olds' soccer game.

The rest of the Supreme Court should go on strike demanding that the decision be made during the next administration.
I don’t think there is any power that could stop them from doing that.

I guess they could do that but they also have zero say in who gets appointed.

There being a Republican majority in the SC probably enough power to nix that.

Women better vote in Nov like their rights depend on it. And men who support women’s rights.
    This is so sad.
