I was under the impression, from the last vid I posted , that “people for bikes” have grouped class1 emtb’s in with mtb’s and are a leading advocacy group for all things cycling. Seems like they’ve made common sense policies from studies and stats and are sharing what they’ve found works for on road, paths and trails. National regulations and laws governing cycling makes sense for at least a basic starting point. Most trail/off-road riding is left up to the land managers but “people for bikes” has some science to back up their suggestions

Most access issues are locally based. I could give a fuck about People for Bikes and what they propose, same with IMBA. I support the local groups here in SW Montana because they actually get some things accomplished.

about: Launched in 1999 as Bikes Belong, PeopleForBikes includes both an industry coalition of bicycling suppliers and retailers, as well as a charitable foundation. Our foundation is where we house our major programs and engage individual members, affiliate organizations, and corporate sponsors.

Over the years, we have spent more than $30 million to make bicycling better. We’ve invested $2.1 million in community bicycling projects and leveraged more than $654 million in federal, state, and private funding. We have contributed millions to national groups and programs like the Safe Routes to School National Partnership, the League of American Bicyclists and the International Mountain Bicycling Association, ensuring safer places to ride for both children and adults.
I don't suppose that they as an arm of the suppliers and retailers have any reason to push an agenda in order to push a new product?

They’re a conduit. They work with local orgs. They’re not out to snipe anyone. They’re just providing the facts from studies for local orgs to do as the please

I used to be against E-Bikes...

I used to be against e-bikes, but then I saw a 75 year old dude climbing thru a rock garden. I thought to myself, yeah I could probably use a little help when I get to be 75. I think they are ok for people who have had injuries or are just to old to climb.

^^thats good. Team t shirt don’t care. He just wants to have fun

Interesting compare here. Surprisingly close despite 10mm travel less front and rear on the mega power. Trail bike does look a bit quicker in the tight but gets noticeably kicked around

My wife’s firm represents an eBike company and they’ve got their first lawsuit to work on.

My guess: a minor crash caused a short in the electrics, which caused the rider's jeans to catch on fire.

I’ll find out why, but the eBike company is being sued.

Sight would probably be my top pick. Good fit and great looking bike.

Very promising but the bike needs some fine tuning tweaks

No Small? Literally just went from wondering if $16k was remotely possible for his-and-hers eZestys to completely removed from the negotiating table.

Medium looks like it’s in the new progressive length too. That kind of cake it needs to be perfect. No squeaks and steeper sa. For some reason I was thinking it was 160rear. Their regular bike looks identical and it’s 160 or 140 with a shock swap. Was hoping it was the same.
Still going to be Commencal for me unless I can somehow make the norco sight vlt happen
