I always get confused which one is the big $$ area, Longmeadow or E. Longmeadow.. I grew up in a town in CT about 20 min. from there, and my town was just farms and tobacco fields up until the late 60's/early 70's.
B-bear- our girl A is famous. I got a random Facebook update on an article about the local brew pub/ tasting room fight she is involved in. Hope everyone is well.

In storm related prognostication news- here is what I posted on another thread a couple days ago-
At this point, I have lived in FL longer than any other place I lived in my life. 21 years here. Gets you pretty used to being stalked by hurricanes. I find it very hard to get too excited early on, and I honestly love when the early predictions call for it hitting us, because they are never right.

Here's where we'll be this Saturday. Dorain's supposed to blow through here Thursday. Going to be interesting to see if our beachfront hotel has electricity or the road to it is open at all..
Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!

I'm glad that
A) We picked the big brick hotel building over the rustic one story wood hotel
B) We opted for Saturday through Monday morning instead of Friday through Sunday morning.
I think they will be able to wedding Sunday as planned. They'll have a challenge getting the stuff set up and power may be an issue. I guess we'll know more Saturday. Moving the vows to Monday is probably an option if need be.Go that way really REALLY fast. If something gets in your way, TURN!
