Drain in bathtub not closing
I have a kholr drain plug that won’t stay down. You are supposed to depress one side and there is a rubber gasket that is supposed to crest a Seal.
Well we are not having any luck getting that to sit and stop flow of water
Any ideas in how to keep it down would be great.Last edited by skideeppow; 02-18-2020 at 01:13 PM.

Take it off and remove all the hair and shit that is keeping it from closing properly.

If that doesn’t work, they are pretty easy to replace and dont require any special tools. You can usually screw that top piece off, and then use an open-end wrench and screwdriver (look around online to figure out what I mean) to take the base piece out. Replacement from home depot should run you about 30 bucks if memory serves

Gotta pulverize the dead hookers teeth before sending the grinded corpse down the drain

Not enough info. Is the bathtub situated in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere or within 100km of equator?

I just fixed my sister's last week. Just screw the threads out of the plug further. Than when you thread it back into the drain it will pull down further making a better seal. or you can watch this video

Just set a brick, rock, stone or something heavy on top of it, should stay down then due to weight and gravity.
Or one of these maybe the right size once you take that out completely:

Get rid of it and use one of those white rubber plugs on a chain. They never fail.
