    Not yet.
I saw that post on Vet's patch skiing thread (https://www.tetongravity.com/forums/...-Edition/page2) and made a mental note to hit it, but got sidetracked, plus have been having a hard time finding patch partners able and willing to trudge and schuss on a week day.

I wonder if it still goes?

Anyone happen to have some $5 Friday tickets they will not be using for 6/28. Looked and it’s sold out. Or any other vouchers?

Also wondering how crowded it is and if there are some good groomed greens or blues for my kiddos. Thanks!

If I read all the fine print correctly, tix are only $39 if you missed the online $5 grab.

Also, when I was there 2 weeks ago all they had running were Big Blue, Gold Coast, and Shirley, which is pretty much all green and blue terrain.
As for the grooming? I work at a local resort that is known for immaculate grooming, so I am pretty judgemental when it comes to all the other hills in the area. The grooming the last few times I've been to Squaw has been what I would consider mildly atrocious (uneven with large chunks of death cookies and death brownies littered on the runs, etc.). The plus is that it's warm and usually once stuff gets skied out a bit it gets pretty decent.

When I was there 2 weeks ago it was pretty mellow from 8-to-9, but started to get crowded around 9:30...

To say that today was hella brisk was a tad of an understatement.

Hiked/skied Rifle Peak and at 9 am snow was still frozen (as was the ground where there had been runoff). Was WINDY as all get-out, too. Never let up.

Spring grooming is tough. That said, Mammoth was doing a much better job then Squaw IMO. But as stated, once thing warm up, it don’t matter much.

Glad to hear it is chilly. Hoping to get back to Mammoth around July 20th, and would be happy if there is still snow to ski.

    Mammoth being a lot higher.
With global warming and all someone needs to invent a grooming machine that grooms slush--maybe freezes it as it goes by.

Hiking up Donner Summit Canyon today I came across a large isolated snowfield at 6500 ft--the runout of an avalanche off of Donner Peak in a terrain trap. The slide must have run 1500 vertical feet and at least a third of a mile. No other snow any where except a couple of smaller avalanche cones higher up and a little high on Donner Peak. Very impressive terrain trap.

I was up there on the 17th of June at that time the lower gate was still closed and I road my bike up to the snowline which was 6500 feet at the time. Guessing the upper gate a couple miles up may still be closed.

I'm sure things have changed a lot since then, but here is some Video from that day. Met a guy up there named Bryan that is a recent transplant (First Ski season out here) out of Salt lake living on the North side of the lake, got his email wrong, if anyone knows him shoot me a PM was gonna send him some Bike ride info.

Did a mountain bike ride out past kirkwood today, you would not have to dry tool to far to hit snow, the stuff above immigrant lake looks really good still.

Drove out to woods lake, they ran a plow down the road and you can drive up the lake

This is Rifle Peak last week. At 9am it was frozen solid. Serious suncups on all aspects above 9000.

Experienced similar conditions atop Rose Knob the week before.

Yesterday I was up Tamarack way and everything above 9000 was cupped to hell. Hit some low hanging fruit off the Relay Peak service road across the highway from Chickadee that was super smooth, though.

I saw that he was playing at SV and actually got excited for a second. There was a time in my life where I wouldn't think twice about driving three hours to experience a live set from Oakenfold. Sadly, those days are long gone.
