The $280 price for pivot 18s is only slightly cheaper than the price you can always get them for from Corbett’s due to the exchange rate. 25% discount on everything basically

Code BF2019 for another 10% off 2020 gear at Corbetts this weekend.

I hope they cancel the ebay price error orders for the obvious resellers, and ship to the people who are truly stoked to get a deal on a pair of skis.

During the Summer, they often sell Pivot 18's for around $220 USD.

I haven't heard anything from them yet either. But, they are closed on Saturday and Sunday...so I still have hope. Going to give them a call on Monday to confirm my payment.

If I remember right they do their US shipments only one or two days a week, so could take as long as a week to get shipping info

Sad to have missed this. Lemme know if there is any buyer remorse for 88 or 93s

Just got an eBay message saying it was a price mistake and they sold more than they actually had and can't fill my order. They then offered me whatever other ski I wanted for the same price. Super stand up seller who could have just canceled the order.

Really stand up offer by ASO...I'd go for a Mantra 102 in a 191 personally.

Did they say the whole order or a specific model was over sold?

Yeah, saw that & the Mantra M5

I asked them to consider the M5 as an alternate (it’s listed at $100 more than the Enforcer was on Corbett’s so we’ll see if they can honor it; the mantra 102 is $150 more)

    Specific skis. I ordered

    Enforcer 110 191
    Santa Ana 110 169
    Santa Ana 93 169

They accidentally pulled a Santa Ana 100 169. So they don't actually have any of the Santa Ana skis I ordered. They just called to apologize and made the same offer to replace with any other ski they sell. Seriously strong service from them and way more than they need to do. Will be earning more of my business as a result.

Wow, that’s above and beyond and you guys are lucky SOBs.

I don’t think I would feel regret at taking advantage of an error by an evil corporate behemoth (thinking of you BC...), but Corbetts/ASOgear is more like a local shop that has expanded into e-commerce. Be kind to them!

Amazing service. I’m not surprised really, but it also would have been easy for them to say, sorry, we screwed up, our apologies.

And to all the twats that bought multiple of same just to flip them...karma will find you.

Gotta hope they just cancel the people who bought 10 of the same... stand up for offering you guys another option.

You guys that are assuming flipping with the multi pair purchases must not have friends and/or aren't a good friend. Must suck going through life such a cynic. Several times I've bought more than 10 pairs of skis before from a single sale in order to hook up friends/family...and I've had the reverse done for me many times as well. Happens all the time in my circle. Thankfully, one of my bros was looking out for me on this deal that I missed and skis are coming my way.

    This is a 1 in 50 situation.

I've bought 7 pairs of skis on sale at one point to give to friends. That is the oddity not the norm.

Yah... it's a possibility but an outlier. If someone is buying 10 pairs chances are they are going on ebay or craigslist the day they arrive or its a somewhat shady dealer buying them and selling them in shop.

Bought two pairs. Still waiting to hear what the outcome is. Also, the subjective morality of TGR gear swap is...amusing. 🤣
