Was it your birthday also yesterday. Happy birthday. Should've read further. Happy belated.

It seems this particular segment of society is *completely* immune to irony. Or perhaps they really have *no* idea what irony is...

Netflix started filming this Pierce Brosnan and Adam DeVine movie at a house on my street today for the next 5 weeks.

The amusing thing was the amount of women that just appeared out of nowhere looking to catch a glimpse of Pierce.

I was walking the dogs tonight and spoke with more than a few. I’ve never seen most of these ladies but they all swear they live in the neighborhood.

Someone needs to send Poonam’s stick to Pierce.

Halloween is coming up soon, sounds like you know what your costume should be.

Then take your dog for a long walk.

Walking around Sacramento and all of the sudden dog skeletons are everywhere, as well as various tableaux of human skeletons doing various stuff. The best one we saw was a bunch of skeletal firefighters--3 of them "manning" a hose and a bunch on the roof and balconies of an East Sac mansion (a real mansion, not the Mc kind), all with firefighter helmets. Maybe this has been around a while--I don't get to the big city very often--but to me it seemed like it popped up out of nowhere.

They were out in full force this morning, just happening to walk by with their morning coffee after dropping the kids off at school, ya know? Apparently the guy from Modern Family and Workaholics is the co-star in this as well so the crowd skewed a bit younger than last night. Which also amused me.

I just wanted to slide into the catering tent set up on the street, that food looked good.

I'm amused by truck bros getting all huffy when they're challenged about the need for a truck.

This just popped up on my news feed: Truck carrying 10,000 candles crashes into truck carrying lumber, ensuing fire blocks interstate by Hartsfield-Jackson Int'l Airport

I fully expect the gasoline truck and/or fireworks truck to be along any time now.

(it appears no one was hurt btw)

Indeed. And you think it's amusing on a forum, the REAL fun is when you ask people IRL the same thing. Especially when they're some white collar shlub who works in a cubicle and doesn't even know how to turn a screwdriver. Always the accountants for some reason. Hahaha

Well that one time your wife sends you out to pick up some piece of furniture or something from a mommy facebook group, that truck sure as hell comes in handy.

False. I just run down to Lowes/HD/Uhaul and just spend the $20 to use theirs for a bit. Easy peasy. No friends hassled. Plus those trucks I've rented usually come with like the 8' long beds!
