The defense’s closing arguments would make me want to throw the book at them.

I can’t believe the defendant’s repeated racism has not been brought up. I think that is quite relevant when deciding a persons state of mind.

If it was north GA I’d be more worried to be honest. North of ATL and it probably wouldn’t be too hard to find someone over 60 who thinks it should be legal to shoot a black person within 5mi of any crime.

Not following too closely… Is a verdict supposed to be delivered today?

God, I hope these shitheads are found guilty.

^ prosecutor has 2hr "rebuttal" summation this morning starting at 8:30 AM EST, then judge instructs and goes to Jury. I can't seem to find it now but I believe in addition to the jury being 11 whities and 1 black, that 11 are women, think they will sympathize with the mother. Hopeful for a conviction before Turkey "we'll see."

100% of America knows what those fools did is pretty much a modern day lynching.. Problem is a frightening number of Americans seem OK with stuff like that.. More in the southeast than anyplace else but some everywhere now..

    Ahmaud Arbery

Jury Foreman informed the Judge they are “close” to a verdict. Judge will have the jury stay and work into the night.

$10 says they're not guilty. If there's anything America loves, it's a mob of white dudes killing an innocent black man. I hope within a week of the verdict being returned that Atlanta is burned out enough for even General Sherman to say, "Ok, you've made your point."

I’ve spent more than a minute in and around Lumpkin and Union County.

Edit: Wishing ATL burns down is absolutely crazy.

Really? We all want justice here and the defendants are trashy racist people but wishing that Atlanta burns to the ground if a not guilty verdict is returned? I feel sorry for you, why are you so miserable?
