Thanks for getting the party started Underoos. Life threw me a huge curveball recently and finding myself suddenly single and borderline depressed. I chose my therapy session. Called a couple buddies, bought a ticket to Central America and got the fuck out of dodge for a bit.

And a few more. As you can tell this trip wasn't all about fishing. It was truly a therapy session. Good friends, good booze, good food and a temporary escape from realities.

^ I'm guessing yes on Belize due to the impressive number of Belikin bottles rightfully featured in the pix. Nicely done, sir, and best of luck with whatever the future brings.

Yep a little road trip fishing and drinking our way through southern Belize. It was much needed therapy.

A ball is deemed to be “lost” if the player cannot find or identify the ball as their own within the five minute limit. If the ball is deemed to be lost, the player must proceed under penalty of stroke and distance and replay from as close to the spot where he last played as possible.

Telee, sorry to hear of your life changes...hopefully the trip helped establish some distance from the actual event of finding out. Perspective with peeps who've got your back is a worthwhile time. Hopefully you can concentrate on the fish more next time. Looks like a cool place!

Thanks for all the kind words everyone. Life goes on for sure. Fishing, skiing and good friends certainly help take the edge off.
Hows the water in your hood Schwerty? J and I have been discussing a run north to check out the place in Thayne.

Great work guys! Love the warm weather and cold weather shots! My trips been looking more like Roos' lately. (well, the scenery, anyway, been all but skunked last two tries - OK, IIRC, totally skunked); I love fishing in the winter weather but that Belize trip looks pretty sweet too!

We can get on somewhere or walk around. Brown water consumption meeting at J's might be warmer tho.

Yea, the current snow situation has erased fishing from my mind for a few minutes. And funny story, i didn't have to eject Paul, he self ejected shortly after I took this picture. We definitely need to get together and fish again once your mind turns away from the frozen water.

Schwerty, brown water sounds like a good warm plan. I will be up in the next little bit.

Telee - sorry to hear that. Looks like you got the right idea re: therapy though. Keep it up, you'll feel better. That weather looks pretty damn nice right about now.

Snuck out a few times close to home before taking a little trip...

Quick trip to Mosquito Lagoon, home of the smartest redfish I've ever met.

Saw an NFL hall of famer.

    Fished with an old friend.

    Caught a few.

    Took in a skate contest.

Did some golf carting. Real deal Florida shit.

Hung out with the local crew and a bunch of Hell's Bay skiffs.

Yapped on a fly fishing podcast for a while.

Shameless plug: www.flyfishingafterdark.com. This episode won't be published until a few days from now.

Currently having a bloody in the Orlando airport. I don't want to go home.

Finding this long lost map got me thinking green fishy thoughts. Talking to Telee and it seems he needs some river therapy from being a reaponisble adult as much as I do from being and irresponsible adult. We are brewing up a green river trip for the first quadrant of March. Im leaning to UT green but easliy swayed to the wild WY greens. These type of outings are best served in a the more the merrier fashion so its an open invite! Hope I dont get a job before then!
